This place is absolutely highway robbery. Went to buy a gallon of milk and it was over $14. Was the last yr I will ever support it. It's owned by the golf course and they have robbed enough from this town The cashier's are the only good thing about this terribly run store. Go support the lovely family over at Ivan's Daughter's for much better convenience and services read more.

"I believe the only reason this place is busy is because people go from the golf course and it's in a new nice building. However food is mediocre at best. The cured salmon is good but for $18 I was expecting more. The lobster roll ok but served with wilted lettuce. The very tiny bowl of chowder is good but way overpriced $15. It was more like a cup of soup size. The southern chicken wings were not good and we left them on the plate. Tacos were only ok. The place is clean and the server was friendly. But if you are looking for good quality and a decent price keep driving."

"Recently visited the Red Shoe with my parents and in laws. Everyone had something different on the menu and not a complaint could be heard. People quite enjoyed the meatloaf and others rally liked the scallops. There was live entertainment while we were there which was quite lovely to hear. They played traditionally scotch music ( fiddle and piano)"

"The accommodation is stunning. we were in one of the rooms in the main house. nice, comfortable and clean. amazing friendly staff. had dinner in the dining room against the pub. beautiful, exposed wooden roof and delicious food from a smaller menu. the 30-minute tour before our departure to learn about the one-malt production process. highly recommended."
