my man and I have decided to try joseph’s for our jubilee. very happy that we made it! our waiter was incredibly friendly, patient and helpful with suggestions. we felt that our halibut and steak dishes were absolutely delicious! overall disappointed. Eating was good, not great. after 4 years (daughter was college student at university) we went into almost every iowa city restaurant. we saved this for the conclusion. in any case, this was an experience. the chop house and pullman are far superior. View all feedback.
Overall disappointed. Food was good, not great. After 4 years (daughter was a college student at university) we have gone to nearly every Iowa City restaurant. We saved this for graduation. Definitely this was a one and done experience. The Chop House and Pullman are far superior.
Very good steak. Dinners include soup or salad. The French onion soup was excellent. Steaks were perfectly rare. Five star service. Great cocktails.

We love going to Joseph's for a date night because we always know the food and atmosphere is perfect!
Steak was overcooked, although the manager provided a free dessert as a result Was surprised there was no validation for parking in the garage
