Aqsarniit Conference Centre - Iqaluit

Aqsarniit (new hotel) is certainly a fresh and new place to stay in Iqaluit. The rooms are spacious with large lighting and comfortable beds. There are not many easy storage space for longer runtimes, but it can still work. Things in the room work well. Housekeeping is not a daily service. Very convenient to the airport less than one kilometre away. Not long walk to the center of the city also to shops and food. There is a restaurant in the hotel offering three meals a day if you have time for food at a relaxed pace. The people who worked at the hotel were friendly and service-oriented and made my stay comfortable and welcoming. I can definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Iqaluit.

I came here early because my trip was canceled. I could save my bags because check-in wasn't until 3:00. I used to be in hotels that allowed an early check-in... But here it is quite strict, u must ask the morning of the original check-out. If you are looking for some flexibility, this could not be the best place. But... The quiet and lounge atmosphere is really great, good music and ppl, the staff are so beautiful, and the beds are cozy. There is also an ATM in the hotel. If you have to pay your taxi... We can draw money from here.

In a half-formal dance of the high school at the hotel it was a great event, but while I was away I and the others at the event were followed by a loud drunk lady from the bar. She sweared and called people rude names like wh0re and s1ut and b!tch all. She came into the faces of people and cried. Take it off so no one can get it through.

The food is good, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately at check in my room the beds had again with dirty leaves (pizza crumbs and black lint in one bed, sticky drops on the bed frame of the other with dry skin flakes/hooks and hair in the other) and my room was not cleaned/in stock. Dirty carpet, surfaces sticky w smudges and hair on the table and in the bathroom, poo streak in toilet, door handle and window full of smudgy body and fingerprints and spray some parts of the walls. It looks nice until you use it.

Bright, cozy and modern rooms and bathroom. Housekeeping needs to pay closer attention to cleaning dirty hand prints on walls and light switches, stains and dust on baseboards. Comfy beds. My room did not come with a microwave.
