"Visited for lunch today, unfortunately the weather changed drastically but the owner and staff were exceptional in their help to provide a sheltered and dry table for us and our dog. The food was very tasty and a reasonable price. Sorry we couldn’t stay longer and were impressed with the COVID precautions in place. Well worth a visit."

"Great place! enjoy a few hours yday basking in the sun drinking new friends to make. inside restaurant, wants bar down pats taste where we had great fries pizza. atmosphere is great, building is amazingly well maintained, large large parking eating drinks top basket! will come back!"

"We enjoyed an amazing Easter Sunday lunch as a family with something on the menu for everyone. The roast was incredible, as always, and the desserts are to die for. Service was impeccable all dietary requirements were checked and catered for and the staff...are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended but you will need to book in advance."

"I booked in advance for the Thursday night carvery and spoke to a lonely young man, I explained about my allergies (dairy and egg). When we arrived the same young man had already sorted out exactly what I could have and made sure all my food was safe, I was supplied with different Gravey and roast potatoes just to be sure. Everything was beautiful, freash cooked meats and a great selection of veg and other dishes. I will return again next time we are in the area to try food from the other menu, the chef here has gone to a lot of trouble to see that everyone can be catered for. All the staff are very helpful and friendly and the whole resteraunt is kept lovely and clean. We'll done everyone. This restaurant is away from the town area and is well worth a visit."

"We arrived yesterday on 18th October 2017 with the family 7ppl without booking to the white eagle, we were greeted by a beautiful dame that made the place for us and we ordered our drinks and eat. when our food began to come out there was a stream cut, but came back, then it went off completely while we eat. the dame and a man came by and were very apologetic, but it was made for a past, but it never disturbed us how it was easy. eating was amazing and so are the employees. keep them the good work."
