Lovely little village with a beautiful drive to get there. Please support the local shop. Also you can get a boat trip to various islands from the jetty here.
Stunning rugged landscapes. Would recommend the coastal walk if you have a spare day in Skye.

"We called to book at this restaurant and the staff let us know they were booked for the evening. We were tired and hungry from a long day of travel and touring, and I asked them for walk in recommendations, which they kindly provided. While I was looking into those options, the staff at Red Skye called back and had a cancellation. We hurried over and were warmly greeted by the two kindest servers we've ever encountered. We enjoyed appetizers of scallops and cullen skink soup, then main courses of Langoustines and Mushroom Risotto. My husband and I shared all of the dishes, and topped the meal off with a rhubarb/berry crumble with vanilla ice cream. The servers also provided friendly conversation and assisted us in the best route to our next stop. By far, one of the best meals and definitely the kindest, most fun staff of any restaurants we dined in. Highly recommend, but book ahead!"

"The food is great!! Incredible is what i can say. One personal recommendation is that when you call for potatoes just call for less as the portion feels too much with the rest of the food. "I believe the previous reviews refer to the restaurant operated by previous owners. now it is guided by a Scots/Spanish couple and eating is mainly Spanish. they had 2 vegetarian appetizers and a vegetarian main dish on the menu and all these were or could be made vegan (they understand vegan). the food was excellent. the part: the smell of seafood is quite strong at this point."
