Atmosphere, food, service this place has it all! This is definitely one place that everyone who visits Jackson should come. The portions are nice for the price, and you can tell the food is cooked with love. Definitely will be coming back. View all feedback.

What John Doe doesn't like about Barrelhouse:
Brisket tater tot's were good. Everything else was average or a little less.. not a fan of how they season their food and our drinks ran completely dry multiple times. Probably wouldn't come back unless I was across the street like I was today. They also charge for refills on tea.. ‍ View all feedback.

"Been there several times, about due for a report. Tough to find a parking place at prime time, but worth it. Everything inside and with the food is very precise and attention to detail is evident. Additionally, you are provided a warm cloth to clean your hands before your meal and a piece of fruit afterward. Got a to-go order recently and the Miso Soup was wrapped individually inside the larger bag and not tied in a hard knot, but with sort of a loop that was simple and easy to open. I don't do much take-out, so maybe everybody does it that way, but it was indicative of the aforementioned conscientious detail. All I've had are rolls and they seem a bit more delicate and special than some places and all have been top notch. A well managed and delicious place to dine."
