What User doesn't like about Heladeria El Barco:
We were excited to visit this restaurant, but when we got there we realized we had forgotten one of our masks at the hotel. We politely asked if they had an extra mask, but the staff was rude and made us feel unwelcome. I have never been treated like this in Costa Rica and would not recommend spending money at this place. View all feedback. What hiswally likes about Heladeria El Barco:
By far the best ice cream in Jaco. The corner store down the street is good and has an air conditioned place to sit. However, the taste of El Barco is supreme and people watching from their sidewalk cafe makes the visit even more enjoyable View all feedback.

Im costarrican and I know granizado with leche pinito and condensada, that do not taste like it, tasted mora like baby powder, not the same as leche pinito ever...

I've got coffee all the time and the ice is amazing.

The gelato at this restaurant was just okay, it was a bit icy and watery, but the prices were reasonable.

There is always a delightful variety of ice cream flavors to choose from, and the musella waffles with bananas and ice cream are simply unbeatable.
