We attended the HS for dinner our first night at the Sawridge Hotel. I enjoyed the humid atrium where the lounge was located. My wife found it too warm. Appetizers where average. Beer was warmer then we would have liked. Staff where friendly to our 18 mth. She really enjoyed the "chips" dip all thought we couldn't determine what it was made from. The Hearthstone Lounge from Jasper is a good place for a bar to have a beer after work and be able to hang out with friends, In addition, the current games or races can be watched on the big screen in this sports bar, which the visitors also love. The typical Canadian dishes are also appreciated by the guests of the The Hearthstone Lounge.

"I had the jerk chicken grilled cheese sandwich and it was packed with flavour! It was cheesy and the jerk seasoning was delicious. I also had the jamaican patty and it was so good. The filling was nice and saucy and the pastry was flakey and well seasoned. It's a bit spicy, so if you can't handle spicy foods I wouldn't recommend it. But if you love spicy foods, I would definitely recommend trying it out. Service was also great, friendly staff. Also, the restaurant was very clean."

"This place is a fav for Jasper. The menu is diverse yet sophisticated and offers yummy vegetarian dishes, which can be hard to find! "This was my favorite breakfast on our 11 day trip! I had the BLT breakfast sandwich two days in a row! Perfect amount of bacon, lettuce, tomato, a perfectly cooked egg, and chipotle mayo. My teenage kids had pancakes and a breakfast burrito, both were good. Serving are large and I split the sandwich with my son when we went back a second day. The lattes, mochas, and London Fog tea were all delicious as well. The restaurant is located a little outside of the main shopping/eating area but was still busy. I would give this place 5 stars for food and drinks, but the service was...nonexistent. I normally don't comment on service, but this was so lacking that I can't give it 5 stars."
