"This is a hidden gem with limited seating and very much the feel of an old diner. The food is home style. I only go there for breakfast, so that's all I can comment on. They make the eggs to perfection. Their sausage is marvelous! The biscuits and gravy are not the best I've ever had, but are mighty darn good."

"So we spent the whole day running around the capitol and decided we wanted a steak dinner... We walked in to this place and to be honest... don't be scared that you're not dressed appropriately we had on t-shirts and blue jeans and they met us with smiles and the food was amazing I highly recommend these people we're from Southeast Kansas and these people set us down treated us like family and probably one of the best state dinners we have ever had but nice enough to have your anniversary dinner with a shirt and tie"

"As I new denture wearer, just getting used to her dentures I often have trouble eating foods that I haven't tried before. But being tired of what I know that I can eat without my dentures coming loose, I tried the roast beef. It was tender and I was able to cut it with my fork. Some of it was even shredded. I had no trouble eating it and it was delicious. Everything my husband and I had for supper that day was delicious. I also had a dessert that I had never tried or even heard of before. A raspberry lemon drop. It came out with a plastic form around it that you had to remove. The sponge cake was very tender and light with a hint of lemon flavor. The raspberry jam and lemon topping that was on it made it even better. But, to top it off, the white chocolate curls made it perfection. I will definitely go there again and would highly recommend it. The prices are also very reasonable."

"Ordered online and when I picked up the order it was completely wrong. Brought the order back in and she offered to remake it, then started to make the wrong things again and we had to stop to remake it again which was still made pretty poorly. She apologized and said it was her first day alone so I don’t completely blame her but it seems like a complete lack of management to leave someone at the store alone who doesn’t know how to make the menu or what goes on standard orders and can’t read online order receipts twice and then had to ask me how to make the order."
