"My husband and I are from Indy but wanted a quick weekend away. We decided to spend some time in Louisville. I’ve been gluten free for six years and love when we find a fun place to try especially when everything is gluten free! We ended up at The Silly Axe Cafe not once on our visit…but twice! We stopped once to snack/get dessert and then had to go back a second time for a meal. Their special at the time was pretzel bites and I cannot tell you how stoked I was for that. I used to LOVE the pretzel place at the mall. So getting gf pretzel bites seriously made my whole weekend yes really. Loved the vibes and the hustle and bustle of everyone back in the kitchen working to crank out the good eats. Place was hopping with others also enjoying lunch or picking up treats. We parked behind the restaurant (it’s free parking) and entered from the back. Nice setup. Accessible from both the front and back of this fun spot. Will definitely be back the next time we visit Louisville or on our way through town!"

"Good pizza overall. There is a variety of crust and topping options for a build your own pizza. We love coming here cause it’s comparable to other fast pizza places and we get whatever we want. There is no topping limit! They do offer a non build your own menu that includes desserts. The building is usually clean and employees are usually very nice and helpful!"

"A great little place with comfort food and an extensive collection of craft beer. I 'd like to see more (some) low gravity or session beers as it seems the selection here is almost exclusively high gravity brews many over 10% ABV that are just too high in alcohol to drink casually. Perhaps that 's just an indicator of the craft beer brewer 's mentality that if a little is good, a LOT has to be better . I 'll try again come summer to see if I just came during the winter warmer beer menu."

"We came to the truck show in Louisville. We've never been here, so it was a new experience. I started flying local beers. That was great to say the least. We have the soft pulp as an appetizer. Super good, and soft pretzels with a diving sauce. We chose a “White Pie” and added Portobello mushrooms. To-die-for!"

"Clean, nice view, and fairly tasty food. Make sure to get there early for a good seat. The pork loins were a little salty in my opinion. Alcohol is a bit pricey too"
