I highly recommend reservations! 5 of us returning on a road trip stopped and walked in. Wait staff asked if we had reservations, we did not. When we arrived we were about the only ones there, just before 1800. Within minutes it started filling, when we left there appeard to be people waiting for our table. Homemade pastas, rich sauces, good sausage and meatballs. Great staff. Nice! If you can get in, it's real good. View all feedback.
What Anna Dosch doesn't like about Cafe Colarusso:
Go there often. Food is always good. Pizza good. But our last experience was awful. After being seated took 10 minutes to get acknowleged. Food is inconsitant. Usually like Fettuccine in red clam sauce. Ordered a week ago not the same as before. It was like a marinara sauce with chopped clams dumped in it. Hopefully it was a one off. Chicken parm was very good and pizza is always good. View all feedback.
Not very happy with the vodka pizza I got today. Hardly any vodka sauce. Mostly cheese. I will not be getting it again.
Ordered a pizza to go and was told it would take 25 minutes.Went to pick it it up and 45 minutes later it is still not ready.
Great local spot. Consistently high quality home cooking. Like Nonna used to make.
Ordered pizza, got there, and had to wait. Took the pizza home and it was clearly a reheat and like cardboard. Called up and they said, no, it was because the person who picked it up was talking to someone at the bar. That is correct, while they waited for the pizza. Nevertheless, a new pizza was given upon returning the stale one, and that one wasn’t much better. However, the topper is, the woman called and said they checked the cameras, and yes, the person who picked up the pizza was talking at the bar to someone. Well isn’t that wonderful business?haha Keep checking those cameras, and keep serving reheats, you can be sure we’ll never be on camera again. What a shame. Chuckie would never ever ever agree with the poor business procedures. He was a class act.
Best pizza I ever had. We have been going here for years. Never disappoints. Signed the gang from Newton Lake.
