Off the beaten pass gem. If you're in Juneau AK for the day (cruise ship day), it's definitely worth the 10 minute walk from town center.
I think it's just being promoted by people on the Internet, and I don't think it has that value.

"The food was amazing and the gentleman serving it was great.. thankfully that redeemed the early impressions of this little Cafe. The young lady at the counter seemed very offput by our arrival and irritated that we asked to have a table cleaned... which we ended up cleaning ourselves. I'm trying to chalk it up to she was just busy and felt overwhelmed. Either way the food is worth the visit."

"Many thanks for eating, cupcakes, cakes and great fruit and cheese plate! everything was punctual, hot and naturally delicious. the cake was amazing and matched our colors beautiful! we loved the real vanilla in frosting. I am so glad that we could make you eat for us in this special time in our lives."

"This is a highly recommended place to eat from my local family, the Yukon potatoes and the French toast was so yummy. This is a nice place to bring family, friends or coworkers for a nice breakfast experience. We called to make a reservation a day before but you can make reservations as long as they are over one an a half hours out."

"Service was a little slow but the fusion nachos were bomb! We were a little early for dinner so we were the only ones in the restaurant, but I can envision that the atmosphere is great during peak times."
