"Good food, bad services! My first visit about six months ago should have been my last one. I stopped trying her pizza. There were many customers. I stood on the counter for about 10 minutes with employees who did not even notice my presence. Not even as much as a... hi! or we'll help you in a minute. I must have been Mr. Invisible. Well, of course I left. On Friday, June 1, 2018, after work, hungry, I thought I would give Patz Pies another chance. This time there was a handful of cartridges. I ordered a meat lasagna organic salad. I waited about 10 minutes for my order. When I came home the night, I just went for the lasagna. It was a small part (4 inches x 5 inches x 3 inches high). I thought it was better. I was wrong. The first bite was disgusting. Cheese burned slightly up. Meat had no season. The sauce tasted like tomato paste. I almost broke. I called the restaurant the next day. I asked the manager to comment on my complaint. The lady who replied that the manager wasn't there. She couldn't tell me her schedule. But she took my phone number saying she would return my call. A week later, no answer. They were warned."

"Service in the restaurant is very unpredictable. About half the time it is ok, but otherwise it is pretty unfriendly. No smile, clipped remarks. Food was bland, needed salt and pepper, but the waitress never came by for me to ask for some. I usually tip 15-30%, but I never tip for bad service."

"Although busy, almost a whole house, we sat within 4 minutes. Our waitress was apologetic that she was pulled to her other tables, but was amazingly efficient and got our drinks and food to us as soon as it was ready. The food itself was soooo good! The sushi is definitely fresh, tasteful and well made. We couldn't eat anything we ordered. But I was able to recruit the tempura and make it to our breakfast plates... again, tasty! attentive, friendly staff who desire the meals they serve for the needs of the customer. Will definitely recommend others and give me back!"

"By far my favorite restaurant in Kona. The service is excellent. The breakfast buffet is fresh and tasty with many options to choose from. The restaurant is located in The King Kamehameha Marriott Hotel with a beautiful beach view. My last dinner there was a seafood buffet, which had eveything It can Dhink of crab legs, shrimps, sushi, shells. ... I would highly recommend Honu's!"

"Had the carnitas plate and glad I did. Nice and juicy, great flavor, not dry at all. Their house salsa is good but not spicy. They gave me a habanero blend to add to it and that helped raise the thermostat. Skip chips, there's enough food for two if you order a plate! Strongly recommend if in dire need of some quality Mexican food here on the big island. (Would love to have a beer with lunch but no alcohol served)"
