What a lovely find! Very friendly staff, efficient, clean. Very large room with bath and shower and fabulous views of the Tirol mountains with balcony and patio furniture, all for E75 bed and breakfast. Fantastic breakfast served with a smile. Gasthof Schwarze Adler, Hagerau Steeg Austria We had planned for a quick lunch in this place (around X-mas but the service was very slow despite the restaurant being empty. We paid the bill with euro and had to ask twice...to get the change (we felt that the total was already more than enough for what we got). We were not staying at the hotel but dropped in during a stay in nearby Steeg. We could neither complain about the welcoming, atmosphere, cleanliness, the food nor the prices. But it did not differ sufficiently from other typical restaurants in the area to lift...it above their generally good average level.

The only restaurant in the little village hagerau, we had dinner there times. Food was good, don't expect to mutch, they have a big menu so I Dont think everyting was homemade or fresh. I at there pizza, was good, rösti, also good and...spatzle, was also good and tasty! Housewine was nice.
