"The ambience at Bar Acura is great. The servers were very attentive and polite, they even helped us to our table a little earlier than we had booked. The wine list is also good, and they prepared some really good mocktails with local lilikoi. The food itself is average. We had tomato on bruschetta which was not a traditional pan con tomate, but more a tomato in balsamic sauce for you to dip bread into. It was too acidic. We also had the clams, which were tasty enough, but the portion size was too small. The Hawaiian fish was excellent cooked very nicely indeed, but unfortunately the pineapple purée was grainy and did not work in terms of flavour. The best part of the meal was the dessert. We had tangerine sorbet and cheesecake, which were excellent. This was definitely the highlight of the email. Overall we felt that the food here was acceptable but very much overpriced. All in our bill was $200 for two of us. Food in Kauai is generally expensive so this is not an outrageous amount, but frankly we left a little hungry and underwhelmed by the flavours. When we asked for more bread, they were very stingy and brought two slices of baguette. For this price, we would expect a bread basket to be regularly replenished. This is a tapas restaurant, and the portions should rightly be small. However at these prices, they are too small and not particularly incredible."

"Good place to get a quick dinner in princeville. the selection is not huge, but there is a mix of Thai and Chinese classmates. there are also other restaurants in the food dish so that they can mix and fit them should be able to find something for everyone. there are also every night live music."

"Definitely a nice place to get a good plate of Mexican food and nice atmosphere with tables inside and bar stool seating along street sude with open windows that lookout onto the street and the other quaint shops. They also have bar seating with TVs! Because it's opened aired, at night there may be bugs around the light but hey ...when you're in paradise eating Mexican, it's fine haha. Nice staff and a big selection of food and drinks. They offer indoor eating, take out and order ahead which is nice if you're staying at a nearby hotel and want to pick up some quick food."

"I love this place! I'll go for my usual breakfast when I'm on Kauai. I stumbled over a wide selection of goods in their Hawaiian collection and bought some to take home. The recipients could not find these articles in California, making them unique souvenirs. The staff was friendly, this store has the order-ahead capability, so you're able to get out quickly."
