Was really excited to try this place! The starters (especially the zucchini bread) were better than the mains. I think some of the main dishes, such as the huitlacoche cacio e pepe and the duck pasta, lacked flavor. However, the duck was cooked exceptionally well. Some of the best I’ve ever had. It is tasty but there are a few items that just don’t smack. The cocktails (both we had) left a bitter after taste. I believe due to the “wine” “soju” versions of the actual spirits. The chicken mole was good, but flavors were more leaning French Asian than traditional mole. The ceviche had a TON of the leche de Tigre and was pretty over powering— too creamy for my taste.
