"The personal is very friendly, though not all the same at the reception. breakfast buffet wonderful and also the kitchen in the evening fantastic. also the cake on the afternoon is highly recommended. we had a junior suite with half board in february. for the price I would have wished a little more cleanness (dust on the regalen). the putzperosnal is placed every morning in the room even though we had ordered it. this possibility is super if it works. even on the day of departure they came in at morning, although check-out is only around the bathroom in the room mega. Unfortunately, there are no bathing supplements, which is completely incomprehensible for me. had asked at the reception. got us badefoam in the shop itself. for a little more romantic, it would be expected. the sauna landscape is super and well organized during corona. all in all, a beautiful stay in winter fairy tale"

"It's a lovely romantic hotel, very authentic traditional Swiss style, it really feels like a journey into the past times : The dinner was totally delicious and rich, the rosé wine was very nice, and we had the best raclette ever! We were happy with this unusual historical hotel, the cozy garden and fine dining experience!"

"I’m conflicted writing this review. The food was exceptionally delicious but I felt neglected by my waitress. I had the carrot ginger soup with bread, it was spectacular. My chicken Caesar salad was possibly the best I’ve ever had and I have had a lot. And a glass of water as I had been hiking most of the day. The food came in an appropriate amount of time but then a disconnect. Having drunk my water quickly, I asked for a refill. The waitress said she would bring some. 15 minutes later I flagged down another waiter who got me a carafe in 30 seconds. I took my time eating then realized that I had to make a train shortly and asked for my bill from the waitress. Next I see her clearing tables for no waiting customers and she started taking an order from a family who had only been seat for a few minutes. But clearly she had no thought about my request. She seemed like a pleasant enough person but had difficulty focusing. All the other staff seemed efficient, pleasant and focused and as I said, the food was excellent."

"The location and the view is amazing. The parking lots and the playground as well as the mini golf course are all in the immediate vicinity on the site. What was a bit disturbing is the fact that we couldn't get along with the ordering process. Do you have to get the food yourself? Where to order. Then a service comes and takes the order... complete confusion. Rather just sit down and be served. The food was great and the desserts weren't bad either. The waiting time is also very long. Service: 2 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic"

"This was our best meal in Murren. I will admit we were a little confused upon arrival and unsure if it was self seating or wait to be seated. There were two women working that didn’t acknowledge us and we were thinking about leaving but so glad we stayed! After our initial hiccup, everything was perfect. The meal was delicious and service was great. Do not miss the sausage with onion gravy and spatzel, YUM! My husband had the burger and was also very happy. Be sure to check this place out!"

"C'est bien connu, dans les montagnes suisses, on mange tôt. Arrivé "tard" à Mürren, c'est à dire vers 21h00, avec une faim de loup, j'ai été ravi de me sustenter vers 21h30 à l'Eiger Guesthouse Restaurant. Endroit vivant, les hôtes de l'hôtel vont et viennent, certains s'attablent pour un verre, d'autres pour un menu, le personnel est convivial, sympathique, et efficace. L'atmosphère est conviviale, et les plats goûtus (pizzas de bonne facture, pâtes au lard savoureuses, viande citronnée généreuse). Mais ce qui m'a épaté (et fait chavirer mon coeur) c'est la fantastique assiette de fromage d'une générosité et d'une subtilité inoubliable. Accompagnée de miel et de noix, j'en rêve encore la nuit. Avec un pain idéal. Tout est bon dans ce restaurant que je connais depuis des années, mais ne passez pas à côté des fromages. Et c'est un intolérant aux produits laitiers (industriels) qui vous parle. Leur vieille prune est également un délice. A faire au moins une fois lors de votre séjour dans ce village merveilleux."

"The location and the view over the Lake of Thun (Thunersee) is spectacular. The food is typical Swiss, including cheese fondue. It's great for families and there's lots of outdoor and indoor dining space. Swiss restaurants are more expensive than in the EU, but this...Restaurant is mid-range for Switzerland, especially considering its prime location (Panorama view)."
