"That was the first minsky I had eaten one day with my man for lunch. it has very good eating very well seasoned. very helpful staff. there was a little waiting because they had not cooked the meat yet. the server told me everything vegan told her that they wished that they had at the location and asked me what I wished. that was really thoughtful."

"I absolutely loved this place. Authentic Ethiopian food with the nicest service. This here is a vegetarian plate I made choosing 4 of their options. The chickpeas and lentils were from another worlds. Absolutely amazing. And the vegetables were incredible too! We are sooo coming back and tasting the rest!! It’s recommended 100"

"I can barely start the day now without a Headrush with extra espresso and no caramel syrup. Can't eat in the morning, so the calories from the irish cream and whole milk hold me over until my appetite shows up and no blood sugar problems with it! The staff is also very friendly and pleasant in general. My ONLY thing close to a complaint is the cups and the way the lids fit. I stained a few white shirts and skirt before noticing why. The were worth the sacrifice! I adapted!"

"Top of our list right now after a year+ of exploring KC after moving from Houston. We coincidentally met chef Brandon Brumback at a J. Rieger barrel dinner the weekend prior and loved what he did, so it was no surprise that this was a home run.The ambience is fantastic from the moment you walk in the building. The restaurant is cozy and romantic. Staff are friendly and helped with anything we asked for recommendations on.We ordered the beef carpaccio and Caesar salads to start. Both were fantastic, the salad dressing being perfectly balanced with flavorful, crispy yet tender croutons.Half a dozen oysters were next. They were fresh and delicious. I didn’t totally care for the mignonette but I’m super picky about that, I don’t hold it against them.This is the first nice restaurant in KC where I’ve seen a legit cacio e pepe, so I had to order it. It exceeded my expectations and I ate every bit of it.My date ordered the filet and green beans. Both were PERFECTLY cooked and the duck confit is to die for with the beans.Cocktails are a blend of traditional and creative; our favorite ended up being the old fashioned.We opted for the goat cheese cheesecake dessert, which was definitely different but good as a more savory finisher.Take a look around the museum after, it’s a great all in one date spot and you will not be disappointed with the quality. We will be back!"

I was in town for business and went to the restaurant solo, and had the most special date night with myself. The wine list is extensive, and the desserts are to die for"

"This must be our favorite restaurant in Kansas City. Why? Because you feel at home with your aunt and grandma. The owner and her mother are the sweetest people who make absolutely delicious food! They are only open for a short time, but have made some special off-menu requests. They treat you like family, and their food taste authentic home style Vietnamese foods. We're going here at least once a week! Can't wait to go back!"
