"My friend and I were at Katoomba for 2 nights. We decided to have a go at Pins because of great reviews. We weren't disappointed... instead of entrees and mains, we decided to do 6 entrees between us (it was a lot but we did good ;-)) We thought the zucchini flowers, scallops and lamb cutlets were terrific.. the other items pork loin, pumpkin soup and mushroom and onion bruschetta were also good.. one remark was that all the entrees came all at once not allowing us to enjoy the evening at a measured pace.."

"Delicious food, cafe staff are very welcoming and hospitable! When we arrived, it looked like it was a very popular restaurant with many regular guests coming for their morning coffee. We had the Croque Madam and the French onion soup and it tasted like my French father made it! Would definitely recommend tasting their French onion soup!"

"We absolutely loved this place. We had the perfect spot in the window to watch the world pass. They have a seperate vegan menu that was very varied. Pricing was very reasonable and they are BYO for no extra charge!"

I don't think I've ever dined somewhere serving cakes and cakes that are made together with the authentic Malaysian cuisine. but this is what they get here, and surprisingly, all eating is sensational. "This place only offers 8 items on its menu. We were there at 12:30pm and it was empty. By the time we left around 1:30pm nearly every seat was taken. We ordered the tofu chips, Moroccan hot dog and Japanese fried chicken. Everything tasted amazing and was well presented. We will be back to try the other 5 things for sure!"

"Very popular restaurant on the weekend, lucky we booked earlier in the week as it was all booked out. We were due to dine for the later session, but they gave us a call as the table was available 15 minutes early, which was perfect as we were just about to get there. From that point on, the service of the night was top notch, very friendly attentive. The menu was a classic Mod Aust, salmon, scallops, steak, chicken, lamb, pork etc, just what you expect, no surprises. I had the scallop for entree, it was nice and light with the accompanied salad. The smoked salmon with poached egg caviar was nice too, but for me it still seems a bit of a breakfast combo. My main with the Angus beef was a bit of a mixed dish, the steak itself was good, but the lentils were really out of place didn't go with the dish, also the potatoe cake was chewy crusty, could've been crunchy if it wasn't being sandwiched between the steak the lentils, and soaked through in the jus. The dessert of chocolate mousse pumpkin sponge was good, but we were already so full from the first two courses, we shared one dessert still couldn't finish it. Overall, a nice evening and a good dinning option when staying in the mountains."

"Food is ok, just average Thai food , nothing really special . The service is really dreadful . The lady working at the restaurant on most days of the week, treats people with such lack of will , not even a minimum greet back and serving like she was serving her dogs. Sitting outside with my kids as it’s sunny today. It’s appalling , on every spot there are enormous spider webs hanging all over the restaurant. They literally haven’t wipe or clean the place over the last 2 years . Please look at the photos , disgusting"
