Dropped in for lunch during a day trip with international visitors. All of us were impressed with the service, the venue and the meals. Three of us had the daily special of a burger and a beer for $20, the others had fish and chips and a steak. While we love the Carrington Hotel itself we were very disappointed on our recent visit to the cocktail bar. The staff weren't very helpful or friendly but the bar tender was nice. It cost us over $42 for two drinks that were average to say the least, and from the menu so nothing fancy.
