Black pepper chicken is great and they do a good egg fried rice. Reasonably priced and relatively quick. This is a great find!

We ordered to pick up 1 roasted fries, 1 sweet and sour pig, 1 corn soup and 1 black pepper beef and it was $60. What's going on? This is about $35 $40 anywhere...

After a solid morning looking for new food to interest the dog, check out some paintings in the Royal Queensland Artists Society interesting work of an Ms Taint...

The food was delicious and fresh and the staff was very welcoming and offered a great service. I would definitely visit again!

"The cafe didn't look the best visually as compared to most cafes I've been to in Brisbane but don't let its mediocre appearance mislead you. Jacaranda Coffee Lane stands out as a Asian fusion-inspired cafe that serves plenty of unique and original dishes. The presentations of our crab omelette ciabatta and Tasmanian scallops on sweet potato fritters were absolutely impeccable and looked amazing for cafe standard. Both didn't disappoint in taste, they were super delish. My friend feels that the matcha latte is a bit too sweet. As for my mocha, it was smooth and enough of chocolatey goodness. Service was impressive. The service staff would come by occasionally to make sure we're alright with our meals and if we needed anything else. We were even served a free fruit dessert to end our meal! Everything was spot-on, this definitely won't be my last visit!"

"I don’t write reviews. If I write, I’d write it with great appreciation. I live in Newstead and that is why I decided to try this restaurant (I usually try Japanese restaurant cautiously). This is my third ?forth time to dine in on a Saturday for lunch. This restaurant has not disappointed me even once since it’s opening. I have Kaisen don (sashimi don) every time. The sashimi is always nice and fresh in good variety and generous serving. Also, the staffs are always warm and welcoming. If my partner or friend ask me to go out for a poke bowl, I would rather come here for a sashimi don without a hesitation. Finally, I believe the quality of the food is better than how it is rated."

I wonder why the prices on their menu on their website have not been updated to the current prices,which, for a small eatery in an area of Holland Park which really has no 'atmosphere ' , now aren 't cheap. Is this a ploy to get you to come in and then find out their real more expensive current price? Friendly service as well."

"Me and my man’s new favourite place! Disappointed we didn’t try them sooner! The sandwiches and soups are both delicious and filling. <br/ We get a family feast and have a sandwich and some soup each for dinner with a sandwich and some soup each left for lunch the next day! The food is both fresh and filling. <br/ <br/ American style sandwiches, love love love! Would recommend the corned beef sandwich and the pumpkin soup!"

"Five of us had lunch here on Friday and we all enjoyed each other very much. as a midday on a weekday there were only a few other tables occupied and the noise level was bearable. our table divided 4 entrees be the pide, chickpea . corn brot, dip duo haloumi – all fabulous only the chickpea corn brot was a little dry. we then had each net – 3 of us chose the steak and the other 2 selected chicken shish grilled chicken. my well-made steak was perfect and we all agreed that our main thing was in front of us. the young man who served our table was friendly, patient and efficient. You can sit inside or outside, but in winter we sat inside when it was huge. we bought 4 bottles of red wine to share. we would return to lunch."
