"It's clean. Products well presented. Appropriate employees who are efficient and pleasant. Nice to see the smiling faces. We tried apple sales, cakes, sausage rolls and carrot cake. All right. The carrot cake should die. Parking in front of the front, but can be a problem because West Kempsey needs more parking."

"Another nice meal at West Kempsey Hotel tonight. I chose the Lamb Rump food from the standard menu, although the Chef Matt, very kindly changed it for me to be a low-carb option. Absolute perfection on a plate! The good news is that eating here is consistent with a high standard; much better than what you would normally expect in a country pub. The staff is friendly and the service is efficient."
