"Only a very small curry house! Glad we booked. Obviously very popular with the locals and not hard to see why. The food was fantastic, great taste and lots to offer. We went for the set menu which was explained really well when we had questions on it. The staff were great! Really attentive and so so friendly. Even if passing through I'd recommend No.3 in a heartbeat. Dietary restrictions: Staff were so friendly that talking to them about dietary needs was not a problem at all!"

"I twice bought a pie here during a week's stay in Ambleside. While not cheap, they were vegetarian, tasty and very generously filled (and much much better value than Ambleside's rather over-priced restaurants). They also sell a range of salads in pots (the roasted veg were excellent) and local bottled beer (at a slightly lower price some some of the more specialist shops)."

"Absolutely delightful place! The food was delicious, we had nachos (huge portion), meat skewers, gambas, calamari, quesadillas and lamb burgers. All of it was amazing, each dish as good as the next, excellent portion sizes and very reasonably priced. We had a lovely waiter, a...young lad, who was very attentive and friendly. Next time we're in Kendal, we'll be back! Thank you!"

"Live in Windermere would say over the years I have been to most places for afternoon tea . Cedar manor however was quite possibly THE best . Little soup to start , then mini quiche with salad , chilled beautiful sandwiches , warm scones delicious cakes . It was absolutely perfect . Even the cup of tea was sensational . It’s 5 stars from me . Would definitely recommend will definitely be returning . Loved it ."

"We had such a nice, cozy meal here was exactly what we needed after a long walk in the cold. the workers are welcoming and helpful and eating absolutely fantastic. there are many vegan options in the main and desserts and I really appreciate that it was not just the standard rate. we are coming back in definitiw!"
