"Went to Malarkeys a couple of weeks ago for my partners birthday and I can highly recommend! The menu is has a great twist on good Irish food. I had the monkfish and it was the best I have ever had! The vegetables and potatoes served with it were perfectly cooked and the corn on the cob was a lovely addition on the place. Portions were generous, but the taste of everything was simply exquisite. Siobhan was absolutely brilliant and very tentative ensuring we were ok for everything. I had contacted her prior to arrival about organising birthday candles on a dessert and she was most helpful. If you looking for good, fresh Irish food, perfectly prepared, look no further. It's clear that the chef has a passion for his cooking. Thanks to all at Malarkey's and we will definitely be back."

"John M Reidy’s has to be one of the best and maddest pubs I’ve ever been to. There are two entrances at the front, one for what looks like a regular pub, the other more if a coffee shop. However, you’re in for a surprise as you make your way through to the back as there’s a number of other rooms, booths, bars and serving points, including a nice cocktail bar, an Irish coffee bar, an area with a giant screen showing sports and even an outdoor bit of sorts. It’s all a bit mad, but just fantastic too! Great vibe on the place and something for everyone. Visited a few times, sometimes for beers , sometimes cocktails. All great. A must visit if you’re in Killarney"

"Nice cafe but quite small so you might have to wait for a table. There's a veggie breakfast that can be made vegan without the egg. The menu states they don't substitute for something else if you opt out of an ingredient. Which is a shame because the portions aren't great to begin with. Included one Linda soy sausage, a hashbrown, some avo, small ramikin of beans, a small amount of fried mushrooms, half a grilled tomato and a slice of toast (and the omitted fried egg). Comes with tea or coffee. Was by no means stuffed but would do in a bind. All tasted good"

"Had a great lunch here today. The cottage pie was spot on. My husband had the jalapeno burger and really enjoyed it. They were very busy today but the staff all worked together to ensure great service was provided. The staff were friendly and eager to please. I'll definitely return if I'm in the area again."

"It was the bar that seemed to us the most welcoming of Kenmare, and rightly! We did not stay to eat, but it felt good and looked very good. We took a cocktail and a beer. The offer of cocktails is convincing and they are divine! It is absolutely necessary to taste the beer brewed by the restaurant, it is really delicious. I took the IPA, you will not regret it!"
