"Shaya is just top a tier dining experience, world class food and drinks with excellent service. Love the Israeli inspired menu and all of the Salatims especially the heirloom tomatoes in whipped garlic!! "My wife and I had dinner here on Saturday night. the place was packed with customers. but we sat fast and welcomed our server almost immediately. the service would remain attentive and efficient throughout our stay. this restaurant is elegant and welcoming. the walls were made of wood and beautiful works of art. the teppich is a rich, darker colour. the tables were spacious, with comfortable chairs. I ordered the sirloin steak with musroom sauce and my wife ordered the thai ribs. both were great dishes; slim moist meat and well seasoned. the side was also well prepared and savory."

"First NOLA seafood experience and it has not failed! We started with fried alligator, I was nervous, but it was delicious! I'd say it tasted shrimp and chicken. My husband had the fried catfish and oyster combo and I had the crab cake Pasta special. The crab cake was ok, more bready than fleshy, but the taste was good. The catfish was excellent! Oh Cant forget the hurricanes, delicious and refreshing! Megan our waitress was very nice and accommodating. All in all it was a good experience, I would go back!"

"This food was very disappointing. The dirty rice tasted like celery and onion, not to mention that the rice looked clean and had a strange season on it. The red beans were watery af and had only a quarter of smoke sausage (cut the smoke sausage and then cut this piece into four pieces), not to mention the secret they called potato salad was not recognizable. The ribs tasted as if they had boiled in smokeworm water and then drowned in Bbq sauce... and then laid in the oven, the ribs were almost candied. The jiffy grain bread was the most decent thing on the plate and the ash was dry and stale. That was my first and last time here. The food is just disgusting. No other words describe it.oh yes they had like 40 flies everywhere. You can have it."

"Food is delicious! Stopped by because every other place had long lines and we were starving. Weren't sure what to expect but the food was amazing. There were only two servers so it was extremely hectic, but the food was brought out quick. The beignets were soft and fluffy and the omelets delicious and filled with so much seafood, we ordered three seafood omelets! The hash browns are more of breakfast potatoes but very yummy. Definitely recommend. However if you are looking for authentic gumbo or the like, this may not be the restaurant. If you want a quaint little place with yummy food then this is a must-try!"
