This was our first family trip in Idaho. We called to see if they have any open spots and they got us right in. I think we have great luck!! Not only the food amazing, but the owner and the staff, where wonderful with my children. This was a wonderful experience and the flavors paired with everything on the plate went so well together. What Michael Elgin doesn't like about Vintage:
I feel sorry for Ketchum residents if this is their level of fine dining. Went for lunch. Mediocre food, cute atmosphere. But I felt like I was in heaven's waiting room. Average age was dead. Devoid of a real bar, they just have average wines and beer. Waiters were Average. Would not return if starving. View all feedback.
Classically wonderful cuisine surrounded in a garden atmosphere. A bottle or wine on the glass. Did someone say Dessert? Try a dessert wine or one of the wonderful varieties of sweets in the menu
Intimate the outdoor garden. friendly service. We enjoyed the appetizers (Kramkuchen and Burrata. the Cajun oysters were a little over seasoned). The most important entrees were from this world. Best smoked duck breast I had. Clam Pasta was fresh and richly flavored. We loved everything. Would strongly recommend for lunch. Definitely need reservations.

Came to the edge of the moment and was wonderfully surprised. The soup was amazing and as described. I had the seafood salad and was just as impressed. The maître d’ was not impressed by the mostly very well-being border collie I brought with me to sit outside. The waiter allowed it and was on point describing the menu. I'm really looking forward to returning.
Heard great things about Vintage Restaurant (Ketchum, ID) and they are all true. Fresh food exquisitely assembled in a charming al fresco dining experience. The restaurant has its own parking lot, a welcome relief when the town crowds up on the weekend. The attached photo of the beet salad is only a half portion. The beets were buttery, and the greens crisp. Dinner was red snapper on a bed of raspberry risotto. Cooked delicately although I wondered why they didn’t offer Idaho trout. The filet mignon was a baseball cut with twice baked potato, a little undersized and tasty. Tip: Al fresco in comfort; ambient temp about 70 so very comfortable, no bugs, and no dress code. Covid note: Tables closer than 6’, I would guess 3-5 feet apart. Pro tip: skip the dessert here and walk over to Leroys for an ice cream waffle cone about a block away on the village green.
