fantastic pub if they love real ales, beer and cider, then there is always a good choice. the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about what they also sell. there are live music and a great jukebox with a lot of genres to try it out. in winter a log burner was set up so nice and warm. it is worth immersing yourself and trying the drink and beer garden. What NeilMann doesn't like about Shire Horse:
Stopped in today for a late Sunday Lunch our first time to try the Sunday roast as we had heard it was good. As the pub us doggy friendly and we were out walking the hound it was an ideal stop over for a late 2.30 lunch on a very cold day they serve from midday to 6pm I believe. I had the Pork and Crackling and my wife has the Lamb. All I can say is that it was absolutely brilliant food and loads of it... quality mea... View all feedback.
