"I love this place! It 's very retro looking straight out of the 1950s. But the main attraction is (of course) the frozen custard. It 's made right there, and in addition to the basic chocolate vanilla options, every day of the month has its own featured flavor. We were there most recently for espresso coffee flavor, which was divine. There are a lot of concoctions to be made with the frozen custard: plain cones, sundaes, milkshakes, etc., so you don 't ever have to have the same thing twice if you don 't want to! My husband I live about 10 miles away, but stop there for dessert any time we 're in this area. Highly recommended!"

"I was in the ice cream shop on Sunday evening. I asked for two Shamrock Shakes. I noticed when I placed the order that the young workers weee not sure on how to make one. An adult explained it and then she was gone. The line was long after me and I noticed that they were confused on who was ordering the shamrock shakes. I was passed up once, meaning my shamrock shakes were given to a customer behind me. I asked the young worker not to forget about me. He did acknowledge me and once again gave away my shamrock shakes to another customer behind me. When they were finally ready to give me my order, they only handed me one shake and realized they needed to make another one. By now I am frustrated and had Ben waiting for a good while, customers are coming and going and I was still standing there with my daughter. They offered me a free scoop of ice cream but I declined. I will not be going back. Terrible."

"RE: Unacceptable Business behavior in our Community, Ambrosia Euro Café (710 Northwest Highway) Incident: 1 month time planning to order my son’s (6 years) old birthday with staff who refused to connect me with a new Owner. Perhaps, given the experience of Saturday, June 17, 2023, it is worth revisiting Ambrosia Euro Café’s business commitment and customer service to our community. Consequences: I was given a frozen cake on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at exactly 10 AM. To my surprise when it was time to cut the cake at 12 pm (as I had looped Ambrosia Euro Café throughout the 1 month of planning my Son’s birthday), I learned it was a frozen cake and not fresh as was communicated to me. It was hard to cut the cake and in no shape or form was going to be eatable and enjoyed by my son, his friends, and our guests. Note the cost of the cake was $209, and despite all the unfortunate circumstances, the right business action to take would have been to reconsider other options for Ambrosia Euro Cafe not to ruin a children’s party (6 years old) and let me walk out with a frozen birthday cake. The ethical action for the business to take would have been to provide an eatable cake to serve the children and my guests, instead of handing me a full tab to pay my bill. In retrospect, I am blown away by the audacity of the new Ownership to charge a full price with full awareness of delivering a frozen birthday cake. Note a frozen and unfresh cake was not part of the agreement we had with the business for the past 1 month."
