"Proven minutes early for our booking for a special occasion, with a side at the glass door that they were closed for the evening due to a burst pipe. that is something that can happen and while we were disappointed, we can fully understand that what can happen. at the entry of employees were present to speak with each other, with a considerable amount of customers still eating there most likely when the Burst tube happened. a coworker came to us and told us that we would recommend a burst pipe and two more restaurants. When he was questioned about our booking, he looked out and confirmed that he soon gave me a call to let me know about the closure and that I will have my deposit back within days. this, just a few minutes before our booked time and we had traveled mile to visit this restaurant. Apart from our disappointment, not in the position to eat in the restaurant, we were amazed with the attitude of the person to do with us that we accept was either the owner or the manager. no honest feeling apologise or we will be in contact to keep their business and offer them an experience that they expect etc.; or any form of dialogue or offer of another date and we have the feeling that this person does not really care about the customer service, something we expect from a restaurant with all very good reviews. I received an email from them in the evening before our booking to request the confirmation of our booking. I have no problem with this and no problem with the payment of a deposit and no problem with the payment back, but they had my phone number and email address and still minutes before our booking we were not contacted. fun before we get to the top of the steps we receive are email with confirmation of our cancellation! we can totally understand that a burst pipe can happen at any time and the restaurant must be closed, but we went from the experience with the worker asking us “what just happened there and feeling maybe it was our fault of pipe break and this guy needs some customer trainings. we had luck when we went to an excellent restaurant on the parade, where the personal was fantastic and eating was great. I will never book this restaurant again and not because of the food, but the employment of the person who has to do with customers when he was obviously under pressure due to the burst pipe, but not in the position to properly treat customers."
