Myself, my wife and our two boys had fish and chips here on a swelteringly hot day in July. The service was excellent considering the heat the poor staff had to work in. Recent visit to East Pier. Ordered fish and chips and calamari. The chips were nothing to write home about. The fish was lovely but the calamari was excellent. We ordered a portion of calamari and we thought there would be more in it for the price. It is expensive. read more.

"Went to Malarkeys a couple of weeks ago for my partners birthday and I can highly recommend! The menu is has a great twist on good Irish food. I had the monkfish and it was the best I have ever had! The vegetables and potatoes served with it were perfectly cooked and the corn on the cob was a lovely addition on the place. Portions were generous, but the taste of everything was simply exquisite. Siobhan was absolutely brilliant and very tentative ensuring we were ok for everything. I had contacted her prior to arrival about organising birthday candles on a dessert and she was most helpful. If you looking for good, fresh Irish food, perfectly prepared, look no further. It's clear that the chef has a passion for his cooking. Thanks to all at Malarkey's and we will definitely be back."
