Once in a while, that craving kicks in for one of my fave Filipino dishes: Kare Kare. A traditional recipe is made with oxtail nommerz! However, given the recent price increases, the version we tried at Ser Caloy's was satisfying enough. It's all about the sauce and meat texture. Craving satisfied! To be honest, I suppose I already walked in with like a 4 star review- since it isn’t my mom’s cooking ?. The waitress was nice. The place had it’s own character. Cool little hole in the wall type of spot. But, also some sketchy characters lurking around the area. Food was ok. View all feedback.
