This restaurant is a great option for every course and has good service. The main dishes are generous in portion size, delicious, and beautifully plated. However, I would recommend steering clear of the cheese platter as the accompaniments are nothing special, and the cheese itself appears to be two identical blocks of herbed tofu and a small ramekin of grated Parmesan. What Daniel Pedersen doesn't like about Carriages:
Atmosphere is getting good with the new couches etc. Cosy place to pop in for a pint. Unfortunately the food is really poor! I venture a meal there every few months, hoping I historically have just picked the wrong items of the menu, but in 5 or so attempts, I have still not managed to get a tasty meal.
