"Booked table for small wedding celebration. Made booking 4 weeks ago. Specified requirements and assured that they could be allowed . Called into restaurant a week ago to confirm booking and go over arrangements. Was assured again. Rang the evening prior to wedding to add guest and was told they had no booking . I was quizzed and given excuses about staff taking orders without checking with management. I was made to wait and then told the booking was ok but the other arrangements not possible. When I insisted I was told they would ring back but 3hrs after my original call I have no information and I when I asked for the managers number I was refused. After being a customer for many years , sometimes more than once a week I am shocked . Will never go again"

"They did not know what to expect when they go up, BUT... proportions sizes of food massiw. my sons have hühnerburger. they shunned, chips look terrible, but are so delicious, I had the shattered cadry and the portion size was enough to feed the 3 of us. we also had the halloumi chips for starters that were delicious. friendly, welcoming personal, cute quirky location, very small, so would recommend a booking (we called before.) fresh eating too very cheap trips. Thank you."

"Visiting family in my parents home town of Adare. Took a wander towards the Adare Manor gates and spotted The Good Room. Pretty building like many of the Adare cottages, a beautiful sunny day so made the most of sitting outside. I sat with a...pot of tea and a muffin not certain what flavour it was but looked and tasted good. Several people sat outside eating various different things. Staff were friendly and it was not expensive I visited the toilets which were also clean. Interior of the property has been gutted which would be my only criticism as its lost its character inside."

"Woman who greeted us first was not the kindest (probably the manager). no smiling and not seen again for the evening. but eating was fantastic and the waitress that served us for the evening was brilliant"
