The pub is next to the main road. It looks rustic and there is a fireplace inside. We had Wild Atlantic hake fillets, the fish was really delicious, well prepared and it was big portion. The service is very good. Loved out visit and would recommend. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Long Dock:
The restaurant has an acceptable kitchen with a seafood menu, but it is not exceptional. The atmosphere is pleasant and has a semi-pub vibe with friendly owners. Prices are a bit high, but they are in line with country standards. View all feedback.
Champion Chowder: I’d been on the hunt for the best chowder in Ireland and had worked my way through different versions of it. The hunt for the the overall best chowder stopped here at the Long Dock. It’s a great wee pub-restaurant, with a super atmosphere and really delicious food. The chowder was full of meaty fish, delicately seasoned and with that rich creaminess that makes it such a satisfying meal. Top marks. Great beer, too, by the way. The sticky toffee pudding is exceptional (see Glen Carrig B&B).
Great local eatery, all products are locally sourced as well
We popped in without a reservation but the land lord kindly fitted us in. We didn’t mind having a drink at the bar while we waited. Great atmosphere in this charming little pub. The food was great and the service was good. The chicken supreme was delicious and so was the sticky toffee pudding. We would definitely go back if in the area.
Food service staff wonderful parking in street will be back
Real amazing bar restaurant. Top class food all sourced locally. The steak was delicious as was the fish dish my partner had. Service from the staff was warm and friendly. A real gem.
