This pub has been closed for over a year. The owner was getting ready to sell it, so the staff started looking for other jobs. There wasn't much interest in keeping it open. View all feedback.

I was in the village and had heard that the pub was close. I had decided not to go so I could enjoy a beer. I checked that the place should be open on Tuesday, but at the arrival I found a statement in. the window that displays the lock.
They go to this place twice every month when they visit norfolk. beer is kept good and good. eating is excellent and cost reasonable. they come back when I can.
We have booked the lynn arms several week before the arrival as it should be a 25th wedding anniversary and it should be at least 7 of us possibly more. the numbers were confirmed the day before the pub and everything was ok. we had a voicemail that was supposed to crash the table abruptly due to a misunderstanding and massive overbooking. despite the efforts to contact the pub, we could only get the messaging service. frightening customer service so intentionally when they try to book.
During our week in Norfolk, we noticed the Lynn Arms and decided to return for lunch after reading great reviews about the food. We arrived at 2:30pm and were the only ones there, likely missing the lunch crowd. The bar was empty initially, but a man soon arrived and gave us the lunch menu offering a variety of innovative dishes, including two vegetarian options. We both chose the Bhaji Burger, served with salad and fries, which looked great and tasted delicious. However, while eating the salad, I found a snail on one of the lettuce leaves, which was disappointing. I informed the chef, who explained they source their salad from the Holkham Estate. Despite the incident, the lack of apology or professional responsibility from the chef overshadowed the dining experience. The barman seemed unaware of the issue, and it was later revealed that both chefs are leaving. This lack of care may lead to a decline in the reputation of The Lynn Arms. Unfortunately, we are unlikely to return in the future.
