"Of course, everything here is lavender! And given most of us don't encounter lavender in our food that much, it's a bit of a novelty and (of course) the classic place to go when you're visiting as a tourist.<br/ <br/ So we had the lavender ice cream and lavendar scones. The ice cream flavour was superb. Texture was a bit heavy, but hey, at something like $4 it was really worth it! Scones were good too, with pockets of lavendar poking through. The lavender jelly seemed a little weak but was a nice snack at this cute little cafe, with wicker chairs and homely stylings.<br/ <br/ Recommended? Sure. It's a great place to stop for 30–60 minutes while you're on the island."

"Nice traditional bakery with a variety of sweet and savoury snacks, and drinks. We did a quick stop to grab a couple of items for the drive to Flinders Chase National Park the Guinness Pie was yummy with a good flavour and huge chunks of tender beef with a touch of capsicum. The beef and mushroom pie had a decent amount of mushrooms. The pie pastry is the type that is sturdy and ideal for holding in hand i.e. it does not fall apart on you as you eat it out of the paper bag! If you’re looking for delicate puff pastry or crumbly shortcrust, this is not it. We got doughnuts as well and this is the variety that is bread y and substantial a nice brekkie if you ignore the health aspect."
