What Mariano Hickle likes about East Side Village:
Easily the best Chinese food in Kingston. I love the egg rolls here. Good value and tons of food. I have had the pad Thai and the Chinese dishes. All really tasty. View all feedback. What Jacky L doesn't like about East Side Village:
We ordered take out for supper from here on May 15th as our usual place was closed....thought how bad could it be! Well, it was pretty bad, the chicken fried rice was tasteless with very small strips of chicken...more like pulled chicken! The chicken balls had so much batter on them and were so tough and chewy you could barely get through it, tried just eating the chicken inside to find it hard and chewy as well. The... read moreEast Side Village restaurant has received mixed reviews from customers. Some have had negative experiences, with one person describing their recent order as inedible and complete garbage. Others have criticized the bland and unappetizing food, as well as the poor quality of the dining experience. However, there are also positive reviews praising the freshness and flavor of the food, with generous portions and reasonable prices. The restaurant offers a wide selection of Chinese, Thai, and Cambodian cuisine for take-out, with fast and friendly service. Despite the mixed feedback, East Side Village seems to have a loyal customer base who appreciate their offerings.
Have ordered from them over 6 times now. Always great food, and great service. Its our go to place for Chinese Food in Kingston.
I had Pad Thai overcooked noodles, gravy, chicken and 2 shrimp with some peanut on top. Not Pad Thai. More noodles than anything else. Won’t order again :
