Dinner was so good. One of the kids has celiac and there was a bunch of gluten free options we all had drinks meals and dessert and it cost under 70$. Staff was great and friendly. Great quick visit on our way back home.
Went here for dinner tonight and it was lovely! There was food to suit all of us- the kids menu was for 10 years and below and included a main, dessert and drink- the Shirley temple cocktail went down really well. All portions were a good size. We were too full for puddings so I was glad my Toblerone could come home with me!
Most Swiss Chalets are pretty consistent with the food and service. I was disappointed in this one.Our server was young (summer job?), and seemed too chill and pokey. We were served promptly. He took our order. It did take a while for our food to come. As we waited we heard the table behind us ask for the Manager as the gravy on their hot chicken sandwiches was cold, like really cold. Hmm, not a good sign. Our food came, and it was piping hot and good. My husband ordered the front page special and it was missing the coleslaw. No problem, Manager got it for us. We ordered for dessert a coconut cream pie and pecan pie. The coconut cream pie was frozen solid. No point sending back, obviously a new pie and the rest would be solid too. We put it into our takeout container to take back to hotel to thaw. Had to request again for takeout fork/knife.After we drove away we realized my husband wasn't given his Toblerone bar. Honestly, it was little things and others complaining as well in that location. Little disappointed and won't visit that one again.
We stopped here on a whim on a Saturday night and it was great! Nicely renovated and our server was great!
