$48 coffee and two lunch. The coffee is great, they use Omar and the bird artisan coffee (yum). The middle eastern pulled lamb was sensational. The chicken po boy was tasty but the bread was too tough(really hard to chew). The staff were great, I like the table decorations of an olive branch with little olives. Light bright and not too noisy.
What User doesn't like about Hendriks Cafe:
The food here was quite nice but overpriced. I had the smashed avocado which had so much avocado piled onto one slice of toast it was impossible to eat it all. Smaller serves and a cheaper price would be much better. The waitress or manageress was extremely annoying flitting around the table constantly. The actual cafe itself is very nice, in a renovated old warehouse I think. Weekends are really really busy at this... View all feedback.
Visiting the grand kids from uk. This place was found on White Street near the kids house, and in an unusual location. White street can be extremely busy so combined with its unusual if strange location presents a slight callange to visit . So good...luck but will be worth it ,
Food was not fresh.Very oily I will never go there again . Feel terrible after having the food.It does not even deserve one star
We, a group of eleven, gathered for brunch. Everyone was made comfortable and quickly offered our choice of drinks and a menu. The baby was seated securely in a high chair, his year old brother brought crayons. Food was amazing! Many dishes had...their own "twist". Staff obliged in every way extra drinks ordered, group photo taken, birthday cake cut and served. We would definitely return.
Brief stop in Parkdale on a Saturday and looking for somewhere for a light lunch. Came across Hendricks and pleaded we did. Lovely ambience , friendly staff and food was great. Only wanted something small so ordered Salmon poke bowl. Generous serve, so we shared...and just right. Lovely to have big chunks of Salmon, and cauliflower rice really great too. Nice balance of flavors and textures. Would recommend.
My fiance and i had a Sunday ritual. Hendricks sweetie! Yes please. We loved it all. Food was amazing, prepared with love...staff were happy, confident and chatty. Then, we started seeing some change...different staff, introvert, fake friendly, that vibe! No vibe!..then the food changed...we did...not see Lee for a while...then one day, we asked a waitress,:"has the business been sold She said yes. It made sense... I am so sad that they have left...where are you guys? We are desperately looking for you...hopefully, you will open something else soon.
