we visited bothell this early year, and it rained, and we felt like a few rams. this was our first visit (although we went back in the following week) in shibu and our first ritter restaurant, and it sat the bar. we have tried others since then, and while they were good, they were not as good as shibu. when they go, we recommend the bao as app, and the Tonkutsu rays. fantastic combo! Oh, my, where do I start? I love riddles and I have eaten a lot of them in the usa. that was the worst. we have shibu amd tonkotsu ramen. broth thin and lack of fat, umami and overall taste. just a few bland and liquid suppe. pork (cashu) dry, boiled, tasteless. too much fat and skin. only a hard boiled egg, not a properly marinated with a half liquid egg yolk. nudels are in order. not great, but not bad.
