"The Corners Inn at Kingsland does a fabulous Sunday lunch. The locally sourced beef we enjoyed was the best I can recall, being tender and succulent. There was a wide selection of vegetables included. The service is excellent, as ever, and the tables are well spaced in an historic converted barn in the centre of the village. You must try it. Food is equally good on other days of the week."

"A wonderful evening dinner. We’ve been camping at Ludlow and as it was our last night, we didn’t want to cook. Called up after seeing good reviews on Tripadvisor. Wanted a pub that was a free house and not your standard chain pub, serving a standard menu. Wasn’t disappointed with my choice. A very friendly pub with very friendly locals. Food was good and so was the service."

"Had a Sunday Lunch here, would personally not recommend. Sunday lunch clearly came out microwaved as come out within seconds of ordering. Beef was tough as anything, carrots were hard. Not worth the money paid. It was so quiet in there it was like being sat in a library. Maybe some peoples cup of tea but not ours. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1"

"We have dined at the Stagg on a couple of times previous to this visit. The service as excellent and friendly. The food for the three of us was not hot and the plates cold. My steak tasted burnt (I should have sent it back). The quality of the food was hardly surprising as we understand there was only one chef in the kitchen. Preparing three different meals and keeping them hot was always going to be an issue. Sadly given the cost of the evening we probably will not go back. A shame."
