We had fun going to this place. We spoke English (although tried to engage in basic pleasantries in German) and the waiter had fun (in a polite way) poking a bit of fun at us! I did find him to be a bit overly familiar, but I thought it was part of the charm. He appeared to be poking fun at everyone regardless of language, so that made us feel better! Das Sion am Ring nennt sich "Kölsche Sportsbar". Damit ist schon viel gesagt. Es ist kein Brauhaus, sondern eine typische Sportsbar: hell eingerichtet, mehrere Monitore mit Sportsendern an den Wänden, daneben Devotionalien lokaler Sportvereine.
