"We had a very nice meal at Apadana in Cologne - A good selection of appetizers and kabobs at very reasonable prices, in a well-decorated setting. There were some weird touches, like Thai chili sauce for consumption with traditional Persian fare - but otherwise great service and solid food."

"Ach wat is das Kölsch lecker hier!Da es meistens nur Gaffelkölsch gibt in allen Läden im Veedel, bin ich happy endlich einen Laden mit Sion Kölsch gefunden zu haben. Super viele TVs um Fußball zu schauen und Bier zu trinken. Ich gehe regelmäßig hin!"

"This is quite one of my favorite places in town. indigo offers a good range of different dishes every day, eypecially they've got two choices of a vegan options. But they also make great vegeterian and 'regular' food. My recommondation: the red whole grain riceTheire staff has always been very nice and managed to put a smile on my face everytime i went there.I love the atmosphere... great background music, cooking books to flip through, cozy couches and armchairs as much as the option of fresh herbs for everyone to pick from!"

"Stumbled upon this Thai place while searching for a good place for lunch after walking around the Neumarkt area . I was craving for rice and curry and this place did not disappoint. The food arrived surprisingly fast at the table. Place is vegan and...vegetarian friendly. Lot of options available so it was a plus for me. My vegetarian Thai curry with rice was delicious. Stir Fried noodles with veggies was also very very good without an ounce of extra oil and full of flavours. Partner opted for a Tom yum type shrimp soup and it was good too. Portions are generous. Presentation a little above average. Half open kitchen allied full view of the clean kitchen. Pricing is good too, not too expensive. They did not however accept card. Good we had cash handy !! Highly recommend this tiny modest Thai restaurant to everyone."

"We paid for extra ingredients which were missing. The udons were so bland I could have been eating air. The chop suey was like a very oily and watery soup. The tiramisu was good but the rest was a complete disappointment. We won't be ordering again."

"Cafe 1980 is definitely the prettiest Vietnamese restaurant I've ever seen. No asian kitsch, but warm and yet modern interior. The menu is small, focusing on traditional Banh Mi. Apart from that the menu offers Pho that you can combine yourself, one dish with meat, a salad, sweet potato fries (just great) and a dish of the week. I tried the sweet potato fries which are really big fries, but yet very soft in the inside with a nice hint of tempura on the outside. Then I had the dish of the week, a bowl with beef, rice noodles, some vegetables and greens, all with a nice balanced spicy seasoning. I added a Bia Saigon to the food, which was just the right companion. I was too full for a dessert and chose a Vietnamese iced coffee instead, that is served with sweet condensed milk and was just delicious. Only disadvantage: it kept me awake at night - but the taste experience was worth it. Everything was made perfect by the very nice service. Will soon come back!!"
