This bier garden is the only bier garden in Cologne that is actually on the Rhein, It is worth the walk along the Rhein approximately 3 km from the "Alt Stadt" . This is a no frills bier garden, the food is certainly not cordon bleu , but it fills the gap at a fair price. It is only open during the summer months. Directly am Rhein you will find this old swimmingpool that is restyled as a popular hang out. It feels like this beergarden is in the middle of nowhere which makes the vibe really relaxed. The food is not interesting when you are a veggie (really boring salad or soup). Wasps love this place too so be careful. View all feedback.
