We had good, not great food. Our server was nice, attentive, but not friendly. I liked it but the atmosphere wasn’t as nice as I had hoped.

Over priced for the food. It was okay food, but not at the level they are touting or for what they charge.

"Let me start off by saying that the hype for these acai bowls are no joke! The acai bowls are fire . They were far different from the usual toppings and acai mix that we were accustomed to . All that can be said is that they were delicious. This place is busy so I can understand other yelpers being upset about the wait time. I too am one of those who waited 10 minutes before being helped. What was amazing was not even a hello we'll be right with you or a thank you for waiting what will you have. A little acknowledgement goes a long way in the customer service industry, hence the deduction of 1 star.Once helped the girls working behind the counter rocked it and whipped up our two bowls in no time and boy were they delicious.Chloe was amazing. Definitely a must visit if you're in the area for a tasty acai or pitaya bowl."

"I love food trucks and the quality of the food that comes out of them. The Kauai Sushi Station is no exception! The cashier and sushi chef recommend the big eye tuna and i am glad that i ordered it! Phenomenal!! The cashier also recommended the Ginger Crazy Roll. It too was really good, as was the house made ginger dressing on the salad! The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful with my order. I highly recommend trying this food truck!!!"

"Merriman's is much better than the supposedly sister restaurant Beach House so if you can only try one, I'd recommend Merriman's. The crab cake is so-so (don't expect Maryland big lump) and the salad is decent albeit boring. The Deep Water Spot Prawns is actually pretty good and you peel it raw which is easy for me as an Asian but if you are not used to peeling raw prawns or seeing the innards of a shrimp then I'd recommend skipping them. They surprisingly did a great job of grilling swordfish which is hard to grill without overcooking. The shrimp and scallops are good but not worth the price considering they only give you two prawns, which is the same as the seafood special which also only gives you 2 shrimps. Overall I'd recommend Red Salt over this for more innovative dishes and more attention to detail on the sauce. I like the service although it's more like good restaurant service rather than fancy restaurant service. Mai Tai is better than many other places."
