The Calicut Kitchen - Kottayam

We went to this restaurant for dinner and it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the service done by Mr. Mahesh was very excellent… he understood our needs and catered accordingly… first time meeting a waiter who is passionate about his job. Definitely recommend the Fish Mango Curry and Chemeen roast. Overall I was very satisfied with the food and the service. Good place to visit.

We, a group of techers and students had a visit to this 'famous ' restaurant for dinned. We had very bad experiences like 1. Poor table service. Few members in our group were not served with the dishes ordered 2. Roties served were scorched 3. Side dishes like Gopi manchurian, chicken fry were not tasty 4. Very high price 5. When pointed out the shortcomings, a mentality of justification from the manager 6. Overall, very bad experience

Terrible customer experience at the hotel. Hotel serves food without a menu card and claims they serve the best food in Kottayam. Feeling disappointed to get here for dining experience. Not a suitable place to take family.

Terrible and slow service . I never experienced a service like this from any restaurants in Kerala. We lost our mood even after experiencing this restaurant . Food quality is average only .
