"Never thought i would find such cuisine in a small town like Shringeri. The food was really good and at a very reasonable price. The Chinese food had a very Indian taste to it, which we loved. Would definitely recommend haka noodles, fried rice and pineapple juice."

"When you are In a place where every sq meter there is someone selling Puliyogare, people often search this mess and eat. Sweet Pongal made of jaggery is good. This is close to temple, ample space to sit if you are tired. After you eat there is whole lot of condiments to shop. I have seen them peeling huge chunk of raw mangoes for pickle and thokku making. Genuine place. Not just a trader, but makes traditional dishes."

"Post the dip in Kalyani below you need to walk up the steps to this temple. There are around 250 odd steps to reach the top. It is a bit odd steps and as such is tricky for older people. Irrespective, overall it is tricky to walk up and down these stairs!! Again you will get enough opportunities to take pictures and videos! You get a very good view and soak in the enormity of the Kalyani below. You also get to see the whole temple town from here. It was not crowded and we could finish the darshan fast. Please be aware of the monkeys here they are everywhere and keep attacking people with bags or plastic covers. Great views from here soak in the whole temple town from here"
