we ate the premium Wagyu-BBQ. it was absolutely fantastic. I've never eaten such a delicious meat! the employees were all very nice and accommodating! we were allowed to feed the animals View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kur-cow Barnwell Farm:
website always shows that it is open and even called to check whether restaurant was opened as we drove before lunch to find it closed. confirmed that this time it was opened and there was another jump, so took a trip to cairns to get lunch to find it completely empty and the chef had just in the top lunch hours. never again recommended for a weekly reservation no .more View all feedback.

Absolute must if you're a city person, not far at all out of civilisation yet when you get there is does feel like it's own little world.Free roaming animals, horse rides, ATV rides, dinner with a sunset, some very chill cows, and starlit camp fires to round it off.Birds, sheep, goats, ponies all very cute, the owners/operators are heroes that bring it all together.Accommodation is basic but you aren't supposed to spend it couped up in the corner, just watch the animals for 5 seconds and you'll get the idea, go, roam and explore.Will recommend to everyone, I know.
Amazing…. We went for a sunset dinner and got so much more. Food, service and staff excellent 10/10. The farm is beautiful and lots to see and do, the owners are beautiful and so friendly. This is a very special place. My family and I spent several days there and the experience was amazing. The animals are awesome, the farmland is spectacular and the entire stay was so much more than we expected. The owners truly care about their guests and are friendly and helpful and make an absolutely delicious barbecue. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend!
Had a wonderful stay at Kurcow Barnwell Farm. Star gazing, watched sunrise and sunset, farm animal visits, campfire every night, ATV, beautiful food. On top of that very friendly and accommodating owners and staffs. Great location, we also spent the day in Kuranda, did the cable car and shopping and dining in the village. It always feel good to support small family business. Thanks for a great stay!
