Popped in quickly to grab a takeaway as they are close to my hairdresser, so nice and convenient. This end of Bridge Road is a bit quieter compared to the other end, so finding a cafe that was open was a dilemma. However, Short Black make a really good cuppa and the staff were really nice. "Really nice smoked and juicy meats. Seating is only outdoors so check the weather. When I went it was windy and raining. Not a great way to enjoy some good food. I just have to go back now. "We walked in and the restaurant was able to squeeze out a one hour dining a lot for us. Service was exceptional, we feel like we were treated like family instead of customers. The food was great, my favourite was the scallops and tiramisu, I had to add some salt into the risotto but I think that’s the idea we were supposed to salt it to our preference. Much better than other risottos which came too salty. Highly recommended!"
