We had been to this restaurant a couple of evenings before but not to eat just to enjoy a lovely bottle of wine. The next day we called in again and booked for lunch on the bank holiday Monday. When we arrived the lovely waitress, whom we had met on previous visit, greeted us with two menus ,one in French and the other she had hand written in English in anticipation of our visit. What CatGrant doesn't like about L'Amuse Bouche:
This restaurant came highly recommended but overall we were disappointed. From the outside it looked very inviting but inside it was dark lacking atmosphere. Maybe this was because it was a Monday night quite quiet. However even the waitress seemed half-hearted about the few clients that were there. As for the food, again ok but not memorable! read more.
